This is beautiful. Great quilt pattern. Great job. You're the only one seeing the mistakes...it looks great on the front and that is what other folks will see. :-)

The basket and flowers are from a book by Marian Shenk called Block of the Month Basket of Flowers, but the border is mine. I wanted something different. It is a octagonal shape too with 3 sides--just to be different! :D I did the applique by machine but wished I did it by hand--that is ok it is done now!! Hurray!

No it really wasn't a struggle. The points on the border were not bad at all to do--easy really. My real struggle is free motion quilting. I am kind of sloppy with that no matter how careful I try to be. I will keep working on it though!
