I finally got my quilt done--with mistakes of course but it is for my husband and I and he loves it! I am so glad it is done. It is on my bed now!

I did the quilting on the "open" squares by hand and was going to do the same on the border. But then I thought "the blue will show on the back and I just want to get it done!"

So I machined sewed the border and afterwards thought "Why didn't I put white in the bobbin!!!" oh well! Vic loves it anyway and I do too--it is just that the mistakes show up too bad!! :-D This is a picture of a better part of it!

I love your quilt, especially the border. It's different and really adds to the charm of the quilt.

It probably wouldn't have worked putting white in the bobbin. With many machines you would end up with either white dots on the top or blue dots on the backing.

Very nice!
I believe one of the best feelings is finishing a quilt , and the anticipation of the next one.

You did a great job. Your husband and you will enjoy it for years. Oh - Tonight will be the first night you sleep under it. Sweet Dreams.

It's beautiful. You did a great job!!! Don't worry if it isn't "perfect" as being imperfect makes it an original.
