Default Oh-so-easy Christmas placemats

Thought I would share these oh-so-easy Christmas placemats that I made for the upcoming craft show.
I'm trying to keep my cost down so I backed them with dish towels (or what my mother calls 'tea towels') that are all cotton but a little heavier that quilting cottons but only cost a dollar per towel. They also gave the placemats a little extra 'body'. I pieced the front and then machine appliqued the bows in place and did a medium stipple to quilt. Had them all done in about a day.

I think these are really cute! Would sure help to use up a big tub of Christmas fabric I have here. Thanks for sharing!
