We just returned from visiting our daughter in Troy ohio, my sister in North Royalton and Amish country (Berlin and Kindred). It was a great trip. When going to my daughter's house at a rest area we found a brochure for quilt blocks painted on barns. In Miami county we saw about 25 out of nthe 66 listed. It was alot of fun and thank goodness for "Gertie Garmin" and my husband for finding them. It was beautiful country. Thanks to Sweetana3 for suggesting the Inn at Walnut Creek. We did stay there and would go back again. We both enjoyed Lehmans hardware and also managed to find a few quilt shops. Thanks for all the QB suggestions. Sorry had to share my sweet little granddaughters with you too. Thanks for looking.

I forgot to add the artist who painted all of this is Rafael Santoyo from Mexico. These were all painted freehand and by his looking at a picture. On our next trip we hope to visit Clinton County Ohio as they also have quilt blocks on barns. Enjoy!

Wow, I've only seen the barn quilts that are on a board then attached to the barns. These are really special...not as special as your other pictures though :)

I haven't seen any of the barns yet. I guess I don't travel
    enough anymore.
