Default OK, I admit I love miniatures!

I've been asked about my avatar and so here is a bigger picture of it! Each block is 4" and I thought it took a long time to complete. Honestly, there is NO quilting on it. I put some FMQing on it and hated it, tore it out and liked it with no quilting. What would you all do if it were your's?

Maybe try sitd? If you like it the way it is, then fine! You could also tie it with some fine thread just to kind of hold it together at the main intersections...

I was thinking stitch near the ditch too, & you could even use clear thread on top, if you don't want any quilting to show. Nice little quilt! I think these little blocks & quilts, are just as much work as the big ones, maybe more!... I like little & small quilts too, I don't have alot of room, or use, for big ones, & can't afford to give them all away either...

I would just stitch in the ditch around each block. Your mini is approx 16x20 and I don't know of any batting that recommends that long a distance between 'quilting' [your edges]. You may not be washing it, but are probably hanging it. I can only picture that it might sag out of shape without the quilting holding the center in place.

I might just do a diagonal grid. Cute!

Stitch in the ditch. I have had the same problem with not liking my FMQing. I started doing a lot of sitd

That's just a wonderful mini quilt! You must have very cooperative fingers! I'm with you - anything other than SITD I would have ripped out too.

I would tie it. I have done this many of the mini quilts I have made. I used flannel instead of batting and when I tied it was from the back. By tying to the back those little tails don't distract from my little quilts.

I really like your idea and had thought of doing that, too! I need to do something I know.
