old quilt pattern hunt

looking for the name of this quilt pattern and a paper copy of it. this was an old quilt that i came a cross years ago. would like to make one like it. have tried to do it on my own but it did not come out right. any help would be great. thanks

Just a suggestion, you could draft your pattern by just looking at the rows on the diagonal. One row would be all squares, and you could make the other row squares with half square triangles to form the pattern, rather than cutting & piecing those angles.

I dont know the name of the pattern but it appears its a row of equal sized squares and a row of square, two triangles to make a square, square, two triangles and you would assemble the rows this way on a diagonal. I try to figure out things as I look at them sometimes I am right sometimes I am a mile off but having it right next to you I think you could lay out your pieces to match that one and then assemble as above. I have seen that pattern have you checked quilterscache.com?
