Default Oldest son's quilt finished

This quilt is for my oldest son. He was 49 last October. I call it "World's Without End". I had it pantographed at a local quilter. I will be sending it to him by way of his daughter this week-end. He said he didn't care what design but wanted purple in it because that is his wife's favorite color. Now I can get to quilting the "different denim quilt" I posted recently, and start cutting out a quilt for another son. (I only like two and a half having quilts made for all 9 children)

Really nice. I know it is a lot of work. Did you do it from a book? I have the book and the strips ready to go. But I am busy doing something else at this time. Reading your thread I see you have a son who turned 49 in October, I have one who just turned 49 this months. I also have 9 grandchildren. We have something in common.

Purples are hard. I like your color choices. I'd like to see the from a distance to get the over all feel. The photos are showing as close-ups.

I love this quilt! The colors are yummy! I'd never seen that pattern before & I really like it! I know your son (& his wife... LOL) will, too!
