Default OMIGOSH - whatever was I thinking

I saw several pictures of the Omigosh quilt on this board, liked them so much that I ordered the pattern to make one for myself. Only I needed one to fit a large bed - king size. A year ago this past September I began cutting my scraps, and cutting, and cutting. I got tired of cutting so began sewin..., and sewing. Got tired of sewing so cut some more; then sewed some more. I gave up on the king size and settled for a queen, sort of, it now measures 95 inches by 125 inches. I really enjoy piecing, maybe since I quilt more than piece, but this quilt was beginning to get the best of me. Now that it is pieced, I LOVE it again! I'm looking forward to when I get it quilted. Do you have any suggestion of how it should be quilted?

That is so beautiful. There are so many ways you can go with the quilting, I am sure what ever you do it is going to be a beauty.

WOW, you do like to piece. It is one of the biggest and best scrappy quilts I have ever seen. Hope you know someone who excels in quilting. Whatever you choose, I would certainly make the quilting simple so that all your beautiful piecing is the main attraction.

OMG it is awesome! I have no idea how to quilt it. Maybe you can google pictures of the finished quilt and see how others have quilted theirs. You could SITD so that all you see is the pattern but that is a LOT of ditches!

Hi

I have made two of these one with a white back groud fabric and the other with a black back ground fabric
both I quilted in a curve pattern because there were so many square straight pieces

hope this helps
