Very nice!

I made one, and the fabric I selected didn't have as dramatic affect due to the pattern being smaller. I'd love to do one again, but this time I'll be more careful to select a fabric with larger sections of different colors in the print.

I have a question - did the pattern have you sew them as half hexagons into rows? I did not use a pattern for mine, and was wondering if there was a better way of putting the top together.

It always amazes me how much colour variation you get with one piece of fabric! Still on my todo list... Your's turned out beautiful!

Macybaby, the directions called for you to make two half hexagons out of each stack of six, each made with three triangles. Then you were to pin them together, overlapping slightly along the middle, so that you could plan your layout. After your layout was chosen, you were to sew the half hexes together in rows, thus avoiding any Y seams. I hope that was clear.

How you got that beautiful quilt out of that fabric is fascinating!

Just beautiful! I bought the book and fabric to make one myself but have never started it! Good job!

Love it. I've always wanted to make one of these but haven't given it a go yet. I find it so interesting to see the original fabric and the finished top. Very nice!
