One UFO Done - A Whole Bunch More to Go!

Working my way through a pile of UFO's. This one was made with a Benartex charm pack that was gifted to me by a QB member and paired with unbleached muslin. i thought the camel colored border gave the eye a place to focus and defined the space. I really like the quilting on this one. What do you think?

The simplicity of the quilt design, intricate quilting in every other row, and the colors make this an eye catching quilt. I agree that the touch of camel to 'frame' the quilt is absolutely perfect! What a wonderful quilt! This one is going on my list -- I normally don't do 'modern' quilts, but this one is terrific! Thanks for sharing.

I think it is beautiful. Quilts don't have to be complicated.

I think it is beautiful! Very, very restful. I'd love to have it in my home. I say that because sometimes I see beautiful quilts but I really wouldn't want to own one because it is too busy. I love yours.

I love it! But I'm trying to figure out how you used the charms. The blocks look rectangular.

They were HSTs paired with rectangles of muslin. So I guess they're rectangular.

Congrats on getting a UFO done. It's a very soothing quilt to look at. Cooling too. Makes me think of the ocean. Beautiful quilting.
