You certainly do have a lot of options. I'd have to audition border fabrics; without that, I wouldn't even attempt a suggestion. It's a lovely quilt with lovely colors and so many border choices.

What if you added an 2 inch white print on print border then add prairie points in all of the colored quilt fabrics. Add a second 4-5 inch white border and bind with either your favorite color out of the quilt or make a pieced stripped border out of all the colors!

I am brand new at this forum, but I am sticking my 2 cents in. That is a beautiful piece and the black looks great, so why not frame it with a small amount of black then go to your border. Think the black would be to stark?

I tend to do straight borders (not courageous enough to do pieced borders yet) - I think I would go with white, yellow and purple.

I'd go with the lavender/purple border.

Take your fabrics and put one one of each on side of quilt. Stand BACK and see which one POPS the quilt. I too and am leaning towards the purple.

Great Quilt!!

If you have more of the lavender I would use it for a border, as none of it is really touching the outside.

I like Gaigai's idea. Can't wait to see what you decide!
