What is this going to be when it grows up?

I agree, the print throws me off the pattern. A different choice maybe??

Its going to be a beautiful "Trip around the world"....The floral with the dark color as it grows will blend better...right now its pretty small...If I did anything different I would add more of the floral pieces with the darker color and replace the ones that dont have as much of the dark green leaves or replace all of them with a fabric that has more of a cohesive blending

I think your floral needs to be a smaller floral and more of an all-over design so not so much background peeks through. Other than that it is going to be very nice!

I like it and wouldn't change anything.

Take out the floral and replace it with black, it'll look killer!

This is going to be an awesome quilt!
Another thought on your use of the large floral fabric - sort your pieces into ones that are predominantly light and predominantly dark and then use them in a round of light one time and a round of dark another time. That would give your design a better balance and keep it from looking like it just doesn't quite belong.

If you sort the floral pieces and use similar ones for each round, it might look better.

I like it. Hopefully you have more of that dark floral for an outer border. That would finish it off rather well! :)
