This is so gorgeous! I especially love the applique in the border, and then I saw the quilting you did there. Absolutely stunning!

I just love it, and that border with the applique is awesome, I will have to add applique to a border sometime soon, it just adds so much to a quilt

I have a top waiting for me to put borders on with almost this same block pattern. I love the appliqued flowers. I was thinking it needed something...thank you for posting your picture and good luck on your charity. =)

That is a beautiful quilt! My dad was from Hermitage, MO. He was an Owsley and went to the "Owsley School". Do you know when they will have a reunion?
