Default Halloween Stack and Whack

Happy Halloween everyone! I love making stack and whack quilts, so easy and each block is a surprise. I scaled the pinwheel blocks down to 8 inches, the original stack and whack pattern in Bethany Reynolds first book makes a 15 inch block, but she has a chart on her website with different sized block cutting info. The alternating 4 patch block centers are leftover cuts from the pinwheel blocks. I've include a picture of the original fabric. I didn't buy it with a stack and whack in mind, I've had it for several years, probably paid $2 a yard for it on clearance. I sure do love the variety this print provided, it was scary good fun making this quilt!

Love the results from this fabric. You did a great job in piecing the blocks. It will add a festive taste to all of your Halloween decorations! The label is darling.
