I made this for a friend who's favorite color is orange so this is all shades of orange batiks. The pattern is "wickedly easy" - which really is wickedly easy! I've gone back and forth in my mind about this one. Sometimes I love it, and sometimes I doubt it. I've got it sandwiched and am quilting with my walking foot. Opinions?

It will brighten a dreary day, and be great for fall/halloween. If Orange is her color, she will love it! I think I'd find some of the darkest rust/brown for the binding to frame it.

Love the quilt, love the pattern, and just plain love orange. To help people see the beauty in my orange quilts, I tell them it are "Poppy"....

Whew, thank you! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks it's ok to overdose on a color!

I really like it! Every color looks better when it's a batik. Your friend is going to love it.
