I am usually this neat with fabric - when I'm not using it! When I'm in the middle of a project, watch out...

I used comic book boards to wrap the fabric, shoe organizer shelving units (one with some sections taken out), and a bookcase on its side to house the fabric.

I've been working on building up my stash for probably 15 years or so.

I just love the way you did it. I know what you mean when your working on something. I guess it will take me a while to get that beautiful stash. I love the colors. I'm trying to reorganize all of our house. We are trying to get rid of all the STUFF you gather. Thank you for your info I appreciate it. Sue

I am so jealous. I love those shelves! I have mine organized but in large plastic containers. Did someone build those units for you?

Nope, it's just in a closet. We already had shelves in the top of the closet. Took out the rod, took some of the dividers out of shoe organizers that I found on clearance, and turned an old white bookcase on its side for the bottom. Probably cost me $40 total for all the shelving.

Lucky You. I raise my hand to shop at your house. Thanks for the pics. I hope my stash will look like yours some day.

I admire you ladies who have your stash so organized and keep it that way, Mine stays neat until I start picking fabric for the next project. Sigh.

If there was such a job as an "in-home fabric organizer" I would take it!

All my scraps are on boards I've cut down even smaller. They're organized by color in baskets. Just no room in the closet for them!
    OK, thanks for answering.

That looks great. I am still trying to organize mine. Maybe I'll post a photo when I'm done.
