I should have taken before pics of this room. It always looks like a hurricane has come through, I am trying to get in the habit of stopping between each project and clean up before I start another one....let's see how long this last....

Looking good! You better keep these pics because it will never look like this again! .....LOL I too try to clean and organize between projects, or once a week straighten up, but my room has been a disaster for about a month now. You've inspired me to clean it up this weekend!;)

    thanks
I used some comic book backer boards and it makes my fabric look so much neater and easier to see and take off the shelf

Very nice and organized! I like your striped fabric totes that hold your batting and on top of your fabric shelf!

LOL the booties helped me be able to move it into place and they keep the chair from making so much noise when I move it back and forth I usually use old tennis balls for the feet but I did not have any. this is an old heavy wooden desk I bought years ago for my classroom. It has pull out boards on each side so you always have a work surface

I came home and looked in my quilt room and it looked like someone had really worked hard to get it in shape. Then I remembered, I cleaned it up before I left and it actually stayed in great shape while I was gone. I can't blame Bogey for anything.

I use comic book backer boards
if you google it and add quilting i think you can see the tutorial I found
the backer boards are 7X10 and not expensive.
I found some on Amazon be careful of the size because there is more than one size

Yeah.....unfortunately, it never stays that way! I just finished a big quilt. Now my quilt room, that I spent a week organizing a month ago.....looks like a bomb hit it! Guess it is time for another 'organization day'.....or more!

You did a great job, can I come shop in your place?

Oh the pull out boards would be wonderful when I work on my little stuff. Have you put an ironing pad and used one for a pressing surface?
One thing I don't have that you do is a clock  I come out of my s room and find out I have spent hours there!!
    Thanks for sharing your space.
