This is my version of Robert Kaufman's "12 Moons" pattern. I am going to put another black border then a red border and back it in a black flannel backed satin. It is a wedding gift for my better half's cousin.

Oooooh! So pretty! I have been saving Asian fabrics for a while, I just love them. Your quilt is exceptional. Your better halfs cousin is very lucky to be receiving that!

Love the quilt. Like seeing the larger blocks. Think I can even make one like this.

Your other half's cousin is going to love it!!

OHHHHH! Nobody noticed and I didn't either until I just looked at the picture again! Look at the center panel on the right.... I sewed the short sashing strip on the top and it should be on the bottom! I have seam ripper in hand!!

Did you notice the right center block? I sewed the sashing strip on the top not the bottom!! I just realized it and am busy ripping it out!!!

I love it! I have been looking for some inspiration for a dear friend who taught English in Japan for many years. I really love the fabrics.

I didn't notice it before, and I really had to look hard, but I do see what you mean on the block sash. Thank Heaven for seam rippers!

Your quilt is stunning!! This is a perfect example of how this board has changed my taste in colors! Before I joined here I didn't like black in quilts. (I do however were a lot of black.) Well in about a year ya'll have changed my mind! Black shows every thing off, especially yours.
