Can you guys pm me your addy and the block you need? I have them here- I have been working 12 hr days and week ends. I set them aside to mail but I don't go to the post office often so they got buried under wedding shower stuff. I missed the deadline to mail.

My humble apologies- I do have them!!! They are cool looking. I will mail them out asap to you individually. I will also include an envelope with postage on it if you want to send my block to me. If not, I understand.

You may beat me now....... I am a delinquent.

I honestly am going day to day, putting out fires as I go. Trying to train an employee, other employee comes back next week (she works for H&R Block in tax season). Wedding shower is in 2 weeks. Buying building at the end of the month, need to coordinate contractors to work and then move by 5/22/09.

Then wedding 6/13. breath- just slightly, then on to next wedding shower at end of July and then wedding in Sept. Add in 3 family reunions, an assortment of car shows and cruises. I figure I will come up for air at the end of October.

I will probably not be online much, just a snippet here and there to relax myself (that's what I do now- 5 min. and then gone, just enough to lower the blood pressure and back to work).

I certainly won't be joining any swaps or groups- I'll be lucky if I can just sew a seam or two along the way.

I received my blocks and they are all beautiful. I'll post a photo as soon as I can get new batteries for my camera.

I still need to make more of the blocks in order to have enough for a queen sized quilt. I've been sketching some ideas on how to use the blocks in my quilt......but none of the ideas have really struck my fancy.

Thank you Bebe for hostessing this swap. Thank you to all the ladies in my group that made me the beautiful blocks.

I received my beautiful butterflies today. I am so pleased. They are all unique & such great variety. They are going to make a lovely quilt. I plan to use flowered fabric in between to even up the rows, etc.

Just a short note. I accidentally kept back a few blocks from the swaps will send as soon as I get a break. Waiting to see what Barb M is going to do??????
I will hold her blocks back for awhile and if no one recieves one from her I will send them back to you. Ladies you need to be more patient and understanding. Give me a brake!!!! I am working nights and very busy in the morning before work and trying to adjust to my new schedule.
Who cares what we got or didn't get. Get over it things happen when we swap with others that we do not know over the internet. Not everything works out perfectly :shock: :roll: :?

Barb, as I understand that you are very busy you also have to keep in mind that questions and complaints are what you take on when you decide to host a swap. You have to be willing to field all the concerns and keep people updated. You will find that when people are well-informed about what is going on there will be less friction and more understanding.

We do really appreciate all the time and effort you put into this swap. It was very well organized and informed up until the swap deadline. After that it went down hill.

I think everyone will really enjoy their blocks and are just anxious to be able to use them in the project they had envisioned.
