Just wanted to share with ya'll a prayer quilt we've made lately. You will notice the long red threads in them. These are for tying knots to represent the prayers said on behalf of the individual in need.

This one was made for a boy in our community who has brain cancer. We call his quilt the silver lining. I know its known as the storm at sea. However we put a twist on that. It took us two full days to get this one done. Had a short time limit due to a benefit they were having in his honor.

I also wanted to say thanks to all of ya'll for the great help and inspiration I get from seeing your work, and tutorials.

What a great idea to shade the pattern into a heart in the lower right corner. This will bring him much warmth and comfort in the time to come. Prayers are going up here for him and family.
