This quilt is for a co-worker who just had a baby last week. She is the lunchtime Sudoku champion, and she said she was decorating the baby's nursery in "Pink Explosion." That made picking a pattern for the baby very easy. Also, the baby's name is Paisley. The border and back are pink paisley.

Thanks for looking,

Darren

This is one block, and the colors are fairly true here.

The whole quilt.

This is the second time we've used this quilting pattern.

Sue -

Thanks for your kind comment and for asking about the FW. I got it back from the shop on Saturday, but due to church events didn't really get to play with it til tonight. It sews a beautiful straight stitch and is very quiet. The technician said it's in great shape and should outlast me (don't know what to think of that...). I've been trying to clean it and the 503 Rocketeer that I bought a little before taking pics. The 503 will be a long-term project I'm afraid.

Pretty in pink. I think the sashing makes the quilt. Paisley should love it when she's old enough to know what a quilt is.
