You are a wonderful friend! Such a beautiful quilt to lift her spirits will be a huge part of her recovery! As a nurse, I've seen how a positive attitude can make all the difference in the world.

Awesome! You get an "A" on that one :) I know Pam will treasure it...and no doubt it will brighten her days when she needs a boost.

Thank you for all the kind comments! I'm sorry I posted the picture sideways. Careful of your neck!
I had fun with this one deciding what to do. It is 6 inch blocks, except for the large friendship star. That was a happy accident. It would have been an orphan but I decided to throw it in. The cross is included to remind her of God's love and to honor her son and DH that have passed. She hopes to be able to return to work in July. She is on the mend!

You did a wonderful job on the quilt.
I just used that same paisley to border my Cathedral Window quilt. LOVE it!!
I, too, have a friend with Guillian-Barre, and I did one for her not too long ago, and I named it Abby's Lilacs.
I am a breast cancer survivor, and know that the support of friends can bring one through the darkest days.
God bless you, and Pam, too.

Looks like you live by John Wesley's advice. Lovely quilt for your friend. Her best gift is you.
