It's a beautiful quilt...you captured the pansies perfectly. I am glad creating this quilt helped you through the grieving. It is so difficult to lose someone so special, but you have chosen a lovely way to celebrate her.

What a beautiful reminder of your sister. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your remembrance of her.
I just came back to look at it a second time, it is stunning.

I agree with the others. It's such a pretty quilt. I'm sure you're sister would have loved it. It's joyful & I'm hoping that it will help you think of happy times with her.

Your quilt is beautiful - What a dear project to remind you of your sister. My Mom loved pansies, and this poem was printed in the Senior Center Bulletin at Mother's Day. I put it at Mother's grave. Thought I'd share with you.

Every Time I See My Pansies

Every time I see my pansies
Vivid in the golden sun,
You are with me in my garden,
And I am once again a child.

Vivid in the golden sun,
Their beauty brings me close to tears
And I am once again a child
Learning to assume your grace.

Their beauty brings me close to tears
As I join hands with you in love,
Learning to assume your grace,
Dancing to your inner music.

As I join hands with you in love,
You are with me in my garden,
Dancing to your inner music
Every time I see my pansies.

I am truly sorry about your sister. This is a fantastic memory quilt for her. Great job. Just know she does see it in heaven and is smiling at you.
