That is outstanding. I am thinking about trying a stained glass design and love your pattern.

Thankyou so much everyone for the lovely comments, I'm tickled pink, that you like it :P

Quilting turtle: It really isn't as big a job as it looks, it's all machine stitched, the fabrics are stuck to the background with a glue stick and then I machine stitched the binding (both edges) around the pieces. The tricky bit is working out which binding to stitch first, so that it tucks under the next. I wouldn't start with such a big one, but give it a go, I think you'd be pleasently surprised at how well it goes :P

Mouse & Moonpi: The fabrics are mostly hand dyes, which I buy from a lady who does beautiful work, there is quite a bit of movement in them, which I find really excellent for stained glass or applique, really good price too compared to other fabrics in NZ

Cathie: I wish I lived closer to everyone too, I'd luv to be able to get together with everyone.

Elle & Janstar: I wouldn't be able to do a tute on this particular quilt as I don't own the copyrite, but will definately bear something like this in mind for the future. It really is alot easier than it looks. Pretty busy at the moment, got the BBlock coming up & I just realised that I'm doing the Aug 1st BOM (how did that happen, I thought it was ages away  ) and I got this other thing I'm sposed to be working on :? but will think on it and see what I can come up with

Patrice: Speechless  I don't believe it  Cheers
