This is my first paper pieced top, and it was so much fun, It is done on a block from Carol Doaks book, "40 Bright and Bold". The borders could be better, and I will probably take them back off and make sure they are squared up some more. It just might need some ironing LOL. Anyway, please tell me what you think. I had so much fun, an ready to do another one. The center would have been a row larger, but ran out of the background dark blue, only had 2 yards of it. So this has been a learning experience for me. I will know to buy more the next one . There is a lot of waste, but it is worth it to get those perfect points :-D

Ninnie it looks great!! I have attempted to learn how to paper piece but I think I am going to have to take a lesson or something! It is not quite clicking the way it should! You did a great job catching on!!! I wished I lived closer to some of you talented ladies (and gents) and maybe you could help me figure it all out!

Absolutely gorgeous. I am normally not a big floral person, but in this case it really does work.

Just curious, what are you planning on doing for the binding?
