Default Paper pieced birds

For my first paper piecing project, I choose birds! Note to self: there are paper piecing patterns that are easier and that have fewer pieces for a first timer.
Well all in all I think it is okay for a debut paper pieced, but I am going to tackle something a little more in my comfort zone, if I do it again.

With the difficulty that you tackled in the quilt I think you have moved on from beginer to advanced! Very nice. Maybe give us some close ups to drool over.

Looks great from what I can see. The angle of your photo makes it a little difficult. Beautiful colors.

Note to you: you are right, there are much easier PPing patterns available. Watch out, it is very additive.

Yep, for a first(or second or third or...) pp project, that's mighty ambitious! But, it paid off because it's also mighty fabulous! I love it! Today must really be "bird day" -- there are so many pictures of bird-related things on the board today. As close as I come? I'm a bird-brain... LOL! You, however, are an ace pp'er!

I really like your quilt. I do tend to like things that are difficult. However, the most difficult are so appealing to the eye and this quilt is very appealing. What is the pattern? Grace
