Default The wonky quilt. (I'm so glad to be finished with this one)

My DH's Aunt brought this quilt to me and asked me to hand quilt it for her. She is a special lady. And, is about 88 years old. She can't quilt her quilts anymore but still loves to piece them on the machine. I thought this was a pretty little quilt when I saw it. But, is has been a nightmare. First off, when I was sandwiching it, the sides kept jumping up on it. I pinned and repinned and finally said to heck with it and put the lap hoop on it and started quilting. I had to pull and stretch the thing because it was so wonky!! I thought I would never finish it. But, finally it is ready to go home. thought I'd share it with you before it leaves.

It's beautiful. Well done you for sticking with it, you've done a superb job. Gosh, wish I could piece as well as your Aunt...and I'm galloping toward 50.

Your DH's aunt is lucky you quilted this for her and took out the wonkyness. It is a beautiful quilt and so is your quilting! Color placement makes this quilt!
