The first few were a pain in the butt to make but with each one it got easier and easier. It is the 10 minute block tutorial from Missouri star quilt company, they have a video on you-tube. Try it and have fun, I know I have.

Very cute !!! Perhaps instead of making it three D, you could just do it like a bow tie pattern, and then there isn't little nooks and crannies for stuff to hide in. But I think it is very adorable. Auntie B, from Saskatchewan, Canada.
