This is the quilt I finished last week. The pattern is "Patches and Pinwheels" and is available free on the website quiltville.com. I think it's interesting that the two blocks (a 16-patch and a pinwheel) form a new pattern by changing the direction the pinwheels go in alternate rows and by changing the placement of the 16-patch block in alternate rows with a white square or a colored square in the upper corner. It is a throw-sized quilt, 44.5 x 60 inches.

I love your quilt. Are those solids you used in your quilt? I think I am going to try it in my 30's repro fabrics.

Three of the colors are solids, the others have subtle shading (bought at Hobby Lobby) or patterns. The white fabric has a white on white pattern of tiny circles (JoAnn Fabrics).

I used 8-inch blocks instead of 6-inch blocks as in the quiltville pattern.

I love it! The colors are great. But, truth be told I did "not" see the pinwheels at first. I saw the 16 patch suspended inside diamonds on point. Loved the look. Now, I see the pinwheels. Super cool pattern.
