Hi all, this was a commission I recently finished. I had made a wall hanging of a Union Flag as a raffle prize for our recent Royal Wedding celebrations and a lady saw it and requested a handbag in the same style. She specifically wanted a zip which isn't something I've done before but thanks to some links posted by some ladies on here when I asked for help, I managed it! I put custom pockets inside for mobile phone, pen and chequebook and a little clip for keys, so they don't get lost in the bottom! I paper-pieced the flag to my own drafted pattern. Thanks for looking. :-D

The zip - the dog learned some new words whilst I was putting this in!

If they could talk they'd get their mouths washed out with soap daily, I'm sure!

What a cool bag. I'm still afraid to try a zipper but yours turned out great. Wonderful job and thanks for sharing.
