One of our Granddaughter's regulars at a Sports bar where she works brought in fresh trout for her to bring home to us, twice. He had caught it, cleaned it and packed it in ice. It was a very nice thing to do, we don't know him but, knows she lives with us. He is also a Veteran from our military. Since I think all of the above are reason to make and give a quilt. This is what I made for him. She took it this past Wednesday, he was surprised and happy with it. The back is Navy blue with a strip of the striped fabric on each side.
