The pink looks like a modified orange peel, I think your wedding ring edges are the 'correct' way they made them many years ago. I have one that my great grandmother made & its like that.

Beautiful quilts, lucky you. Don't know the name of the block on pink & white one either. I love the edge on the DRR. I made one a few years ago and finished it like that.

You can get pictures of the construction of this block in a book titled "The Melon Block" by Elisa Wilson. She also has templates available. I have made the top and it turned out beautifully.
