Default Pot Holder

Please excuse all the horrid mistakes, I usually am a lot more perfection-istic. I was in hurry and didn't feel like ripping or re-cutting. Besides it was going to a guy and they don't tend to see flaws like I do. I was also using it as a learning piece, trying to play with all the new bells and whistles I've never had before that my new machine came with. Be gentle with me

Have fun with your new machine. He'll love the potholder- it's a great way to, as you said, "try out all the bells and whistles."

While there is room for improvement, I think that's a fantastic practice piece! I love the way you used fabrics that are different, yet go together perfectly!

Cute camo shamrock! Potholders are a great way to practice bindings.
