I used gold fabric to sash the blocks. Not finished yet but will border with gold and SITD probably. Great practice for doing our DJ in Jan. I love everyone's blocks and know how much you all put into them! Thanks so much!!

Wow, that looks great with the gold. I may have to steal that idea and use up the remainder of gold from the Blu/gold/white swap.

    Good job!

Thanks ladies! I love to use that piece of gold on lots of stuff. Don't we always have a favorite piece that we keep falling back on? Just looked out the door and it's snowing! Ick!

I just love the way you put your Dear Jane blocks together!! They are beautiful & yes I like the gold you have used for the sashing. I am so glad you shared with all of us.

Dumb question here - - - what makes a quilt a "Dear Jane" quilt? Fabric? Block patterns?

Wowzers Jan that is stunning. And I love the gold - I know exactly what you mean, there are some fabrics that you could just use again and again. And do you find that say you only bought a yard, realised how useful it is, go back for more and.... NO MORE!!!! :hunf:

K3n, yes I do! In fact when I cut the binding I only had about an inch left. And I know I'll never be able to find more.
