Smile Quilt I Made For My Daughter

I made this quilt for my daughter, Kelly. She just started her Freshman year at GSU and is majoring in Nursing. The pattern I used is call "For Someone You Love". I machine pieced the top and hand-sewed the binding and the quilting was done by my friend, Esther. I just finished and it will be hand-delivered by me, because I don't trust the mail. She said she wanted bright pink, black and white, and in a more modern pattern ( I tend to stick to more traditional patterns). But this was really fun and the colors took me out of my comfort zone! I thoroughly enjoyed making this quilt and think she will be very happy. I also made two pillowcases and a pillowsham to match. Thank you for looking! God bless!

It's a great quilt! So great in fact that you better put a sewn label on the back so it doesn't walk away with someone else.

Thank you. And I did put a label on it, I just didn't post the picture with it showing on the back. I wasn't sure how to post more than one picture, as this was my first time!
