Well I went to the show today and it was a small show. My quilt was hanging next to a very large quilt that everyone was admiring, so mine kinda got lost, and I don't think the people had much to say about it.
Next month I'm going to put it in the county farm show and I will see what happens. I won ribbons there last year.

actually there are 2 borders on it you probably can't tell from the picture. They are pieced.

This quilt is divine! The colors and the pattern and the combination--what can I say. I would LOVE to make one like it--isn't that the ultimate compliment. You are very very talented. Kudos to you!

Donna, that looks like a winner to me. I keep learning so much about color by looking at all of these quilts made by more experienced quilters. The darker background is so dramatic and makes all the other colors pop! Thanks for sharing.....

Joan, the picture doesn't really show all the true colors, but the background fabric is so beautiful, it is a brown with fall florals in it. I just love the pattern I should have bought the whole bolt.
Thanks for your compliment~Donna

Marthad, thank -you I got the pattern from a local quilt shop, the owner designs her own patterns and fabric for Timeless Treasures.
I hunted for awhile till I found exactly what I wanted.
I found the perfect background that went with the gold and magenta.
You could make one too, If I can, anyone can.
