Default Pickled Ladies Continued

I thought I'd start a new thread on this quilt as I work along to finish it. I started this last year, I think. One block does take some time and I have been doing two a day for the past two days now. It will take a lot of them to do a 60x60 quilt. I have 19 made so far.

I'm not sure how many I need because it depends on how I set them, maybe 30 something or so. The blocks are 10 inches across. I will put in a pie shape here and there that I cut out of the scrap left from the clam shape.

I have discovered these wonderful clips. I found then at Joanns with my 50 % coupon. I will never use pins again unless absolutely necessary lol.

I thought I would make a bunch of all green blocks to disperse among all the color. I love the greens in there.

Love the Pickled Ladies. It's on my list of things to do. Have the pattern and the fabric all ready.

I am not going to pickle all of them. I like just the pretty all fabric ones too. I had re-drafted this block in EQ. Well I made a point of learning to do it and this pattern is perfect now. I made the crown and the shell and then made a template of the crown and shell all in one to match for the plain blocks. I have made two green ones so far and will post new pics when I have a few green ones done and dispersed/
