Split spool blocks quilt
A group of 8 of us did a fabric exchange....we each exchanged 2 strips with each other for a total of 16 strips which made 32 blocks. I wanted my quilt bigger, and to add fabrics to blend the colors better, so added another 16 strips ( a friend for each of the other fabrics).
We had a sewing day yesterday, and I finished my quilt top...here it is:

The pattern is from here:

I have an omni ruler I used instead of the cardboard, but I am sure that would work too if you
don't have a ruler. You need the ruler that does the quarter square triangle, not the
one for half square triangles.
