Great quilt!

I do a lot of scrappy and am always looking for inspiration!!

Question for the OP and all .... a quilt such as this,
* do you do it totally random?
* or do you do some colour planning and placement?
* or arrange on a design wall and then start sewing?
* or ????????

I'm always nervous at things looking "just right", so am always keen to get new ideas.

What a good feeling to use up all those scraps and end up with something wonderful! It's fantastic.
