Default Pineapple-ish baby quilt

A while back, I got some great input from you all on a design I was doing for a baby quilt for a co-worker and his wife. (here's a link to that thread). The design morphed a bit, and here's what I ended up with. (I actually have decided to save this one for another time, and have a different design going for the new baby... I found out it's a boy, and their choices for baby "stuff" was more browns and blues, etc., so this one didn't really fit them. )

The pineapple blocks in this were done using a quick method from Karin Hellaby (here's a link). I used a decorative stitch to machine quilt around all the colored areas and down the seams in the border, then did a bit of FMQ in the snowball blocks.

The back is a flannel with cute little wiener dogs

Really cute! I like how the alternate block looks like a thread spool. Love your buttonhole stitch, quilting and backing too!

Your decorative stitching (seen in the white areas) looks great. It looks like you did sections in a continuous line. I'm wondering how you figured it out without going crazy??

I love the look and the pretty variegated thread. It looks like each stitch is a separate color.

Real cute fabrics and a very interesting design twist on the Pineapple block.
