I decided to kind of wing this block and I am so gald I did. Originally I did the one on Quilters Cache but my cutting is so bad it turned out really wonky.

I decided to try and use the Fons & Porter ruler and used 3.5 inch strips. I am very happy with how it turned out. This size is a bit off at 18.5 unfinished but I am sure I can make it work. Next task is to make a flying geese block . . thats a little more scary!

I think I am going to do some pink ribbon in different color pinks and something else between them. So maybe 6 ribbon and 6 something else. I am going to try flying geese but we will see how those turn out first :)

If you have trouble with the flying geese block, try doing it with paper piece. It's really easy that way.
Good luck!!! :D

After seeing your ribbon block, I think that you shouldn't have any trouble doing flying geese. Can't wait to see the finished product!
