Default Pink scraps
I have pieced this quilt top for my sister using scraps or other bits from my stash. The only thing I have purchased is extra wide backing. It will be a large ‘sofa’ quilt and measures 58x62.

I plan on using polyester batting for the first time (rather than my usual cotton) as it will be warmer and she is always cold! I hope the central pinwheels will stand out more after quilting.

Nice quilt - but - I did not know that polyester was warmer than cotton batting?

No way is polyester batting warmer than 100% cotton-IMHO. Nothing beats 100% cotton except maybe 100% wool but I don’t live in Alaska or
Canada.
