Love the cherry prints but I think the paisley's are to busy right next to it. I would put a solid between the two or a cute red with white polka dots, it would kind of play off of the cherry shape

If you decide to use sashing, consider possibly using a darkish green. It is one of the colors in your print and would also serve to calm the busyness of the pinwheels.

The fabric was on the sale shelf at my local quilt shop. It was $3.99 and on 6/30 there was a 30% sale on anything with red, white, or blue in it. That made it about $2.80/yd. Is it looking better to everyone now? :p

I like the idea of green - I'll have to see what I can find.

I think a narrow darker blue (solid) would look very nice around each block. I think your block would show up better with it. Maybe just an inch wide sashing. Then your pretty border and bind it in red!!

I agree with everyone here, a thin border (1") between blocks and border! If you have navy in your stash try it!!! I use a lot of navy in quilts and I think it would make your blocks really 'pop'!!! Love it, great fabric find!!

I agree with the others...love the print and i would do a small solid for the strips and border. It's going to be the prettiest quilt when finished :!:

I would use a sashing around each block. Also I think I would add a narrow black strip before te border,
