Looking for ideas on quilting this banner, not good at stippling or meandering any other ideas? Thank you for your help, Michele

Such fun. I love it. Sorry no ideas for quilting. All I can do is SITD.

How about a huge spiderweb, find one in a colouring book and just enlarge the idea. Oh look, Leah Day has a you tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RR39N7anr0

I would outline stitch just outside of all the appliqués first and between the different coloured fabrics. I think that would probably be enough quilting for a wallhanging. Check the batting for how far the quilting lines can be spaced. If you need a little more quilting, I would make a bat template out of Mac tac or something similar and stitch around the outline matching the background fabric with the thread colour.

Love your wallhanging! I made this one for a customer by looking at one in a keepsake magazine. I stippled mine but I like the idea of a spiderweb.

Shadow stitch everything, then put a big spider web behind the whole thing. It doesn't need close quilting; it's a wall hanging! It's also really cute!!
