This is what I came up with yesterday. I call it "The Castle Floor". The block is "Crossed Roads" from quilterscache. One of the fabrics I actually have, and I'm thinking seriously of getting the others and making this.

Oooooo! I like! I have EQ6 and have only gotten through the first 2 lessons. How did you get the block from the quilters cache into EQ?

Wow, that is cool. Where do you buy the EQ5 or EQ6 at?

How did you get the pattern from quilters cache on your program.

So can you scan your fabrics also to see what the quilt will look like?

Wow, this sounds fun to have. How long have you had your programs?

I got mine for Christmas. Hubby ordered it online using my American Quilters Society membership and got a really good deal on it. I haven't learned how yet, but you can scan your own fabric in so you can see how it will look in a quilt. You can also go to Electric Quilt site and down load fabric collections monthly free from certain companies.

Great design. Which fabric do you have?

What I did was to draw it in the make a new block section. You can draw existing blocks, or even make up your own. The quilterscache had it with greens and browns, I think.

Thanks! I will have to devote more time to learning all the ins and outs of EQ.

I have had this about 8 months. My sister gave it to me. I have barely even looked at the book. I just figured a lot of the things out myself.

Yes you can scan your own fabrics in or what I do is see a pretty fabric online and save the picture and import it. It is loads of fun. I really like being able to see what the quilt will look like before I even start cutting.
