Default Placemats and Binding Tool

From my daughter (she lives in california)I got this summer when she visited us, a "binding tool": I had seen it on a site at the internet and I thought, it could be useful!!! And I was right: I used for the binding of these placemats and it was going very fast to sew the binding on!!!

...perfect!!!

And if you wonder: I sewed the binding on the backside, turned it to the right side and machine stitched it to the mat!!!

Nice job. I've seem those tools, but didn't really know if they were that good. I see they are.

cute place mats. yep, now that I have the measurements in my head, I don't use my tool anymore. I just cut and sew the binding. wish I knew where that tool was though. I could use it for braid quilts.

Pretty mats. Thanks for the tip! I've wondered if that tool really helps.
