    Placemats for my sister

My sister gave me fabric left from re-covering her dining room chairs. Using that diamond fabric, I made these placemats for her. It was such fun designing, piecing, and quilting them! She was very happy with the results! I hope you all enjoy them too.

This is my first post and I actually figured out how to post pictures! I really enjoy reading the QB.

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."
