I always shy away from plaids and I think if I saw one in a kit I would run screaming the other direction. I'll have to say though...you did a great job! It looks just perfect in that spot and you have a lovely home!! :mrgreen:

I'm going to have to reconsider that running away thing from the looks of yours. :wink:

Thank you all - the quilt is growing on me!! The plaids drove me crazy, but they don't annoy me as much on the wall as they did in the sewing machine. :wink:

The house was a multi-year project for our retirement. We are really excited about it and enjoy it greatly.

GREAT wallhanging. Would look wonderful in my home! Working
with plaids may be a pain in the butt, but definitely worth the work.

You really did a beautiful job.....

What a carefree jaunty personality it has. Looks like a winner to me :!: And you know what :?: --leaves or not--the colors make it perfect for a autumn wall hanging :) You done good :!:

Here is one I made. All the stars are homespun plaids but none of the points are the same or match the center. I got the pattern on line
