I've finally finished the 2 yards of play mat got it all bound and even wrote my first label by hand. Not the prettiest, but it says what it needs I guess.

Becky I think you did great, it is nice and bright, has lots of fun places to go visit as well.. A great road to lead the way,. Nice job. I like your friend sitting on your shoulder as well. :) have a great day

Great quilt! I am sure your grandchildren are going to love it and have many hours of fun.

Love your cockatoo as well. We have a lesser sulfer crested cockatoo named Molly. We love her to bits!

what a smart idea...if you keep it at your house it will be a special play time mat...and I bet it will get plenty of use.

Thank you all. That is my version of the quilt police. He's an only FID (feathered kid)at this point. He likes the scraps I cut off to preen. The longer pieces, the better. I give him the long run of trimmed cotton when I finish a quilt & he'll play happily with that for weeks.

They live 1500 miles north of us. That wouldn't work for us, but if we could deal with the weather up there it would be a neat idea!

Becky thats great. Most of my grandchildren would love to have one, I have mostly boys 8 of them. Going to have to make one for some of them. Great job. Marilyn
