My DH wanted a poncho for christmas. DD loves my Elna 6500 so much that I'm fighting her for it!!! Haha So I finally finished it. He likes it! Says he feels like a monk in it!! haha Had run out of this fabric only because my DD attacked my stash one day and made a pillow so there was a section that I had to turn around. Don't remember where I picked this fabric up but I figured I could use it one day. It was a quickie since MY time on MY machine is limited! DD laughing at me while I write this post. :D P.s. This is the first time posting a picture DH Chuck is helping me!

    chuckies poncho!

I was going to suggest that you get your DD her own machine as a gift next Christmas....or her birthday if that comes sooner. I bet she's love it.

YES DH and I are discussing this right now! In fact she's changing her major 2nd yr at comm.college. Started out majoring in Physical therapy now she wants to major in fashion design. Accessories and design . She wants to create her own line of hand bags. She (Amelia) has been sewing for about 2 years. But the wonderful thing is that she has been creating these bags that people want. So I am being patient and letting her do her thing.

Yea... DH loves it now..I made the outside with flannel and the inside with fleece. He says it really warm! That was the point! It works now with the four quilts on the couch that are all for me! The winter here now is way to cold for me. Woke up this morning it was 21 degrees out. 2 days ago it 16 degrees. This is freezing weather for me! Hate it! Love it here Spring, summer and fall but thats it!
